The Rohingya Solidarity Organization issues this statement to the Rohingya people in the camps, in Arakan, and across the world, and to all who stand with our cause.

Return to Our Homeland:

Insha’Allah, the long-standing plight of the Rohingya people is nearing its resolution, and the day of our return to our homeland Arakan, in full dignity and with our full rights, is now close at hand. After decades of persecution and displacement, the promise of home stands within reach. At this decisive hour, every step we take must be measured with the greatest care and wisdom. We must not allow division among our ranks, nor fall into the traps set by our enemies, nor be deceived by their propaganda.

False Propaganda Against RSO:

Our enemies seek to plant confusion and division among us. To this end, they are spreading the false claim that RSO is working with the Arakan Army (AA). This claim is a complete fabrication. The truth is that the AA has inflicted immense suffering upon our people, and that suffering can neither be forgotten nor forgiven. RSO is the only organization that has fought this dangerous enemy of the Rohingya with honour.

In this struggle, 281 of our brothers have been martyred, and we have inflicted heavy casualties upon the enemy. The blood of our martyrs lies on the ground from the Naf to the Mayu, in every corner of Maungdaw. Those who spread lies about RSO speak against men who gave their lives for this people.

As for those who carry this propaganda, they are people with nothing to do except gossip, waste time, and spread confusion. Those who spread these lies have neither ethics nor morality, and in many cases they are criminal groups shifting their own blame onto RSO to hide their crimes. Mark them. Be aware of them. Do not give them your ears or your energy. Let us remain optimistic and direct all our effort toward one goal: returning home.

Our Appeal to the Rohingya People:

We call upon all of our people to reject the enemy’s propaganda in full. Do not believe it, and do not repeat it. If we allow these lies to divide us, we will fall into an unending cycle of suffering and refugee life, and we may lose our homeland forever. Unity is our only protection and our only way home.

Our Position on Dialogue:

RSO has never closed the door to diplomacy, and we state our position plainly so that no one can distort it. Dialogue with any party, whoever they may be, is possible only if that party first grants the full rights, dignity, and internationally recognised demands of the Rohingya people. Without this condition, there is no dialogue with anyone. This position is a single and indivisible principle. It has no exception, and it cannot be separated from the condition that defines it.

Conclusion:

The time of our return is approaching. We call on every Rohingya to stay united, to remain alert against the lies of our enemies, and to honour the sacrifice of our martyrs. Together, we will return to Arakan with our rights and our dignity restored.
